JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Physician Assistant, under the direction and supervision of the licensed physician in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's Urology Division, will provide routine diagnostic, preventive, and treatment services. The incumbent will perform patient interviews, evaluations and physical examinations; check test results and discuss information as well as treatment plans with patients; address patient questions and concerns during the visit or over the phone; assist with scheduling tests and consultations with other physicians; assist with preauthorization for medicines as well as procedures; administer specified medication, as necessary; and may perform urological procedures, as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Certification as a Physician Assistant within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Ability to manage projects.
*Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and patients.
