Full-time Physician s Assistant needed for an Orthopaedic Surgery practice nestled in this progressive community situated on the banks of the Connecticut River in the shadow of Mt. Ascutney in southern Vermont. Windsor is a four-season destination with skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and numerous cultural venues. Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center are nearby.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital is a member of the New England Alliance for Health. The Hospital has been certified as a Critical Access Hospital and is licensed for 60 beds. We have 25 acute medical/surgical beds, 10 rehabilitation beds, and 25 nursing home beds.

Join this Dartmouth-Hitchcock Physician Orthopaedic practice. Within the scope of practice and licensure, this professional will provide the initial evaluation necessary for the triage and treatment of patients in the Orthopaedic Department. The PA will administer injections; cleanse, suture and dress wounds; remove sutures and also perform diagnostic and therapeutic duties. In addition, this may include assisting in surgical cases, rounding and taking call per the schedule of the practice. Preferred applicants should be NCCPA certified, eligible for Vermont certification, and have a minimum of two years experience. A generous compensation and benefit package is offered. Full-time
