ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES
You ll have the opportunity to be a central part in our aggressive growth strategy by aligning with our manufacturing planning process. You ll assist in all aspects of production capacity plans with a clear focus on achieving measurable and quantifiable returns. You ll act as a key contact for receipt and entry of new orders, change orders and net change analysis from customers. You ll be on your feet for about two to three hours per day tracking down parts and working with the logistics team and you ll need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally. You ll manage and execute production schedules and work with other key members of Production, Quality Control, Engineering and the Warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Precision Technologies, the MECHANICAL MANUFACTURING division of Benchmark Electronics, is looking for a career-minded PLANNER / SCHEDULER for our Fremont, CA location. Our client list reads like a Who s Who of Original Equipment Manufacturers requiring precision mechanical production capabilities including close-tolerance machining and electromechanical clean room assembly. Our product lines include equipment for the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Healthcare and Scientific Instrumentation markets.
What would really impress us: * Previous experience in Accounts Payable * Inventory Control * Experience in a Machine Shop * Cycle Counting * Resolving discrepancies on work orders
What we need from you: * B.A. or B.S degree * 2 to 4 years experience in production planning and scheduling * Experience in MRP
