Our client: Established, stable and growing aersopace manufacturing company located in Santa Fe Springs, CA

We have an immediate opportunity for a strategic, focused and talented Controller (Santa Fe Springs, CA). Must be a Leader with the skills, experience and knowledge to manage the accounting and financial planning activities for the manufacturing facility to align with the stated goals and objectives of the company.

Manage plant accounting and financial reporting.
Prepare financial reports and data for audits.
Conduct month-end closing, variance analysis, cost accounting, and financial modeling, using GAAP.
Ensure tax returns and financial reports are filed in a timely manner (local and state regulatory reporting and compliance).
Measure actual performance against plan and projections for sales and costs.
Perform core financial duties including journal vouchers, hourly payroll records, bank account reconciliation, accruals, ledger postings and AR collection.
Identify waste and implement cost saving initiatives.
Partner with plant GM and ensure sound business decisions are being made based on good data.

10 years financial work experience supporting manufacturing organizations, required.
Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing organization, required.
Experience working with Epicor & Hyperion are pluses.
Demonstrated leadership experience, required
Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing experience, required.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, and/or relevant degree, required.
MBA, a plus.
CPA, a plus
