Fortune 500 global industrial manufacturing company is in need of a strong Leader (change-agent) who enjoys leading from shop-floor, up to direct reports, in a manufacturing/plant environment to continue the progressive implementation of world class operations.

Ability to communicate and engage at all levels. Seeking Leader who has own ambitions to continue to grow and develop their own career as well as their team. Must have multi-plant expertise. This role will move you out in 2-3 years to any global company location, of interest, to next steps in your career.

Responsible for a very large plant P/L.

The Amarillo plant leader has overall responsibility for all areas of operation of the largest NA manufacturing facility. Amarillo is a critical plant to the overall business model. This is an industrial manufacturing facility. This seasoned leader oversees the development and implementation of organizational strategies, standards and practices to achieve best-in-class performance in the following areas:

In addition, the plant leader collaborates closely with other plant leaders and leadership across the business to leverage One Company best practices focused on eliminating waste, serving our customers and growing and developing our people. The plant leader is also an active member of the community and represents interest in local affairs.

The plant leader owns the financial performance of the site and is responsible for plant P rewards and celebrates safe behavior and achievements; ensures accountability

* EXECUTE BUSINESS STRATEGY AND DIRECT OPERATIONS THAT DRIVE TOWARDS MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE

Leads with a clear view of where the organization needs to be in 1-3 years; communicates strategic direction to employees and how it fits with the day-to-day actions and results being driven

o Strategically embraces TPM methodology to Identify and drives continuous improvement efforts through standardized work to cut cost and improve productivity and quality.

o Drives cost leadership by engaging employees, identifying opportunities to improve and execution against the opportunities.

o Set clear and measurable performance expectations, in line with division and corporate goals; proactively analyzes and manages all relative operations performance metrics

o Oversee the development of a comprehensive annual capital budget and operations plan; initiates timely and appropriate capital requests to maintain or enhance plant performance necessary to meet customer demands

o Operate with zero environmental non-conformities to applicable company , government and regulatory policies

o Continuously improves the plant operations environmental footprint consistent with company goals and community interests

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred

15+ Yrs. minimum work experience with at least 5 years in a plant leadership role

A minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing leading people in a cross- functional and complex manufacturing environment

Exposure to cross-functional team leadership or participation outside of manufacturing

A history of hiring, growing and promoting talent within the organization

Experience in dealing with both union and non-union operations and experience in contract negotiations

Six Sigma and TPM formal training and Lean manufacturing experience

Experience successfully designing and leading culture change within an organization

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Computer skills- the ability to utilize company systems and the software necessary for this role

Utilizing data and data collection systems, and Six Sigma, or other problem-solving methods for decision-making to eliminate manufacturing losses and unnecessary cost

Creating and implementing strategic and operations plans
