Plant Engineer - Plant 9 (Eton, GA) - (Job Number: 55131)

Position Overview: Reporting to the area Plant Engineer - directs and coordinates the activities of a subordinate plant%27s engineering activities and maintenance staff. Requires strong leadership abilities coupled with technical knowledge and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a site engineer for an Air Entangling and warehousing facility.
- Develop and manage small to medium-sized capital projects.
- Manage and direct the functions of the Maintenance Department while supporting, motivating, and developing one salaried and five hourly personnel.
- Act as point of contact with EH&S for Environmental, OSHA, and other regulatory compliance issues.
- Provide technical support for TPM elements.
- Participate in and lead Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Manage energy usage, reporting, and projects designed to decrease site energy intensity.
- Other projects and initiatives assigned by the Plant Engineer to support the area/group.Requirements:
- 4 year degree in a technical field and 3+ years engineering/maintenance work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and withstand temperature/ humidity swings.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, or weekends as required.
