Responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and maintaining a variety of environmental/Safety programs, to ensure the highest possible degree of safety for all Plant employees, and to minimize the potential impact of plant operations to the surrounding environment. Responsible for ensuring facility compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local governmental regulations, as well as corporate policies. Has overall responsibility for on-site wastewater treatment system (1 MGD +), and associated NPDES Permit Stormwater (TMSP) Compliance including all recordkeeping and reporting. Reports any issues of potential non-compliance to the facility management team, and regulatory agencies. Has overall responsibility for Major Source Title V Air Permit, including multiple NESHAP/MACT Rules, and daily operation of biofilter emission pollution control equipment. Reports any issues of potential non-compliance to the facility management team, and regulatory. Serves as company representative and point of contact during governmental regulatory inspections when scheduled. Acts as Company representatives for plant site during RMP/PSM Audits. Responsible for required RMP Submittals to EPA. Prepares applications, and communicates with the appropriate governmental agencies, for renewal and/or modification of all environmental permits. Has thorough knowledge of all permit terms and conditions. Maintains extensive knowledge of all records and reports, and ensures that accurate and complete records are maintained; and all reports are submitted prior to statutory deadlines. Maintains the facility SPCC Plan, as well as the SWPPP, and complete/document associated visual site inspections. Develops and delivers training to Plant employees with regards to health, wellness and industrial hygiene processes and programs, SPCC Plans, SWPPP. Coordinates Industrial Hygiene activities with assistance of laboratory technicians. Works with state trade associations, plant management, and corporate management to develop and make constructive comments on existing and proposed legislation. Adheres to ISO9001 standards to continually improve products and services to consistently meet customer quality requirements. Develops, implements and manages all safety activities for the Osceola facility including OSHS record keeping and associate training.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience in health, safety and environmental or related field preferred. Minimum five (5) years of health, safety and environmental experience in a manufacturing environment. Solid working knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and guidelines. Ability to assess organization training needs. Ability to create and deliver training programs/materials. Ability to deliver and evaluate the efficacy of training programs. Able to manage multiple projects, arranging priorities, organizes and schedules people and tasks, delegates responsibilities as needed. Works will other departments to ensure timely and successful resolution to issues/problems. Anticipates problems, sees how a problem and its solution will affect own area and other departments. Uses data and technical knowledge to address and correct issues. Works harmoniously with others to get the job done, able to work well with staff; shares critical information with everyone involved, Self-motivated. Plans work and carries out tasks without detail instructions, drives change, creates novel solutions to everyday issues and problems. Understands, encourages and carries out the principles of integrated safety management. Demonstrates understanding through action, following all applicable safety rules.Must be experienced using MS Office.
