Job Description
Our client, a Billion plus manufacturer, seeks a strong Human Resources Generalist (with plant experience) to oversee Human Resources functions for its growing operation. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, including but not limited torecruiting, training and orientation, policy development, legal andgovernment compliance reporting.
Provide strategic and tactical human resourcesgeneralist support.
Implements annual updates for performance management,talent and succession planning, compensation and employee relations.
Oversees safety, Workers Compensation, Benefits andEnvironment.
Facilitates leadership and teams to improvecommunications and efficiencies.
Experience and Qualifications:
BS/BA in HR/Industrial Relations or related discipline.PHR or SPHR certifications preferred. MBA preferred.
5-10 years Human Resources managerial experienceworking in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational andproblem solving skills.
Union avoidance, negotiations and arbitrationexperience required; 1st or 2nd chair preferred;Union and Non-Union skill preferred.
An enthusiastic change leader who builds trust andefficiencies and experience in a change culture.
Computer savvyandmdash;Access, Word, Excel, Power Point; SAPexperience a plus
