Food Manufacturing Company is looking for:

POSITION: Plant Leader - HACCP/Food Safety Programs

LOCATION: La Grange, North Carolina - 30 Miles outside of Goldsboro

SALARY: 80-90K + Bonus

DEGREE: Required

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years Experience

RELOCATION: Relocation Package

You will be responsible to lead and develop the HACCP and Food Safety Department, while driving our Food Safety philosophy throughout the organization. Your position is responsible for:

Innovation Continuous improvement programs

Ensuring production and outside suppliers meet the Food Safety standards of the Company

Investigating customer complaints; implement corrections and preventative actions

Managing Food Safety systems, policies, and procedures

Creating and reporting on Key Performance Indicators of Food Safety, including root cause analysis and corrective actions for deviations.

Ensuring the Food Safety department is properly staffed, organized, managed and developed.

Providing Food Safety training for all other essential employees

Conduct Food Safety audits throughout the facility

Maintaining a Non-Conforming Material Review and Corrective Action Process.

Ensuring test equipment is maintained and calibrated according to specifications.

Maintenance and analysis of test data

Management reporting

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of Food Safety, manufacturing, management and supervisory experience

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Possess excellent leadership skills, especially strong communication skills

Must have working knowledge of Food Safety programs, GFS, SQF, GMP and HACCP plans

Must have strong organizational and problem solving skills as well as be capable of project prioritization, time management and development of Food Safety training programs

Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a high level of accountability and autonomy
