JOB DESCRIPTIONSeeking individual with management experience within a manufacturing environment producing large composite products such as wings, fuselage parts, wind blades, truck cabs, etc. Shall be responsible for managing the overall plant operations from raw material procurement through delivery to customers.
*** Manage activities of Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Accounting, Human Resources, and Maintenance to maximize operational efficiencies.
*** Develop budgets and manage bottom line P&L while meeting targets in production, cost control, waste reduction, safety, quality and complete and on time performance.
*** Establish financial and production goals and monitor adherence to established budget.
*** Ensure proper inventory levels.
*** Coordinate preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
*** Oversee quality checks and delivery of products to customer.
*** Hire, coach, and develop personnel.
*** Review and recommend requests for capital projects aimed at improving productivity and reducing operational cost.
*** Background in a composite manufacturing environment for large products made utilizing hand-layup, pressure bag molding, automated tape or fiber placement, or similar processes.
*** Ability to lead by example and motivate large groups of personnel.
