* DEVELOPS LONG AND SHORT-TERM GOALS AND STRATEGIES FOR THE FACILITY.
* ENSURES ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH STRUCTURE, STAFFING, RESOURCE ALLOCATION, TRAINING, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND DEVELOPMENT.
* OVERSEES, DIRECTS AND SUPPORTS THE COMMITMENT AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT TO FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY PROGRAMS.
* HOLDS PLANT MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES ACCOUNTABLE FOR ESTABLISHED FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY PROGRAM GUIDELINES.
* ACCOUNTABILITY OVER DAY-TO-DAY PLANT OPERATIONS, AND THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS, PROVIDED THAT ALL GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE COMPANY ARE APPROPRIATELY FOLLOWED.
* ENSURE THAT ALL EMPLOYEES UNDERSTAND THAT SAFETY IS THE FIRST PRIORITY AND EACH EMPLOYEE SUPPORTS THAT PRIORITY.
* ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH ALL COMPANY POLICIES, LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS.

* ENSURE ALL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR THE SAFE QUALITY FOODS (SQF), ARE ENFORCED AND FOLLOWED.
* MANAGE PLANT'S BUDGETS, KPI'S, AND OVERSIGHT OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS.
* INITIATE COST REDUCTION IMPROVEMENTS AND PRODUCTION PROCEDURES TO ENSURE PRODUCTION OBJECTIVES ARE MAINTAINED IN A SAFE AND EFFICIENT MANNER.
* DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP IN ASSESSING AND ENHANCING PLANT CAPACITIES AND EFFICIENCIES
* MAINTAIN A COOPERATIVE WORK CULTURE THAT PROMOTES TEAMWORK AND COHESIVE ACTION
* MONITOR PROCUREMENT OF PRODUCT AND MATERIALS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITHIN THE LIMITS ESTABLISHED BY THE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER PLANS.
* ENSURE LOSS TARGETS/TOLERANCES ON ALL PRODUCT AND MATERIALS ARE ESTABLISHED AND MET.

* MONITOR THE EMPLOYEE WORK SCHEDULE PROCESS TO PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR CUSTOMER NEEDS AND FACILITY REQUIREMENTS WHILE MAINTAINING THE LABOR EXPENSE CRITERIA ESTABLISHED IN THE PROFIT PLAN.
* ESTABLISH GOALS AND EXPECTATIONS IN ALL AREAS OF PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTION FACILITY TO INCLUDE SAFETY, PRODUCTIVITY, COST CONTROL, QUALITY
* MAINTAIN GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND POSITIVE COMPANY IMAGE IN THE COMMUNITY.
