OVERVIEW:

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure data integrity related to manufacturing processes, involvement in the creation for the plants parts and assemblies, validating that the materials have the correct configuration and strategy for production purposes. This person will be the point of contact for Engineering Changes, Application Notes and Coordinate process flow changes, data and quality aspects of the change. This person will need to work with several departments to collect the necessary information to complete their tasks. Monitor, create and report on performance and metrics manufacturing related.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:


* Participate in One Shuttle Work Flows including New Material Creation, Changes, and Reactivation. Ensure manufacturing activities are completed correctly.

* Validate that the strategy requested for the material by the responsible of that task, to match with the production area rules and processes.

* Ability to generate reports and metrics to assess performance (Std hours, BOM explosion, Agent reports, etc) as required.

* Assist with Data Governance activities to support Data Quality objectives. This can include Data cleansing and error elimination of BOM and manufacturing related activities

* Coordinate the plant processes for creation, maintenance and deletion of bridge master data

* Work with plant Data Coordinators, other sites and the NAOD Data Governance Council to identify process and quality gaps and to resolve data issues in a timely manner

* Assess the performance of Master Data Coordinators in meeting business needs and data quality requirements and work with Master Data Coordinators and their supervisors to address performance issues.

* Engineering degree or Technical schooling with 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment

* Proficient in Excel

* Experience with Microsoft Office suite

* Interpretation of Part Drawings Engineering Drawings

* Ability to understand process flows and data process flows

* Previous experience in manufacturing environment

* Previous ERP system experience preferred
