The Platform Program Manager is responsible for project execution across all new product development and sustaining product activities for Cytonome's Desktop Cell Sorter portfolio. This covers development phases from proof of feasibility to transfer to manufacturing as well as post launch sustaining activities. The Program Manager will also have to collaborate with upstream R&D and external customers to assure that new product configurations effectively utilize existing platform features. The Program Manager will be responsible for developing project timelines, identifying project risks, and developing mitigations plans in order to achieving milestone commitments.
The Program Manager is responsible for leading a multi-functional team to assure that the program maintains scope, schedule, cost and quality. The Program Manager is the communication channel, working closely with team members, project teams, external partners and senior management to drive program success and ensure business goals are met.
Provide strong leadership to Project Leaders in the development of new products or the modification of existing products as well as sustaining programs.
Determine scope of assigned programs or projects by working with key stakeholders in determining resource requirements and timeline required to complete tasks.
Ensure programs and projects meet schedules, input requirements, company design controls and project procedures. Continually assess program or project against timeline, input requirements, and performance. Actively and aggressively develop and execute mitigation plans.
Create program documentation and communication plans.
Provide program or project updates or presentations to site leadership regarding status of projects or programs.
Provide meaningful program metrics and tracking tools, i.e., tracking of project costs, product launches MBA preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with cross-site stakeholders.
Outstanding organizational, planning, process development, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to lead program teams from concept to market successfully.
* Experience with manufacturing techniques, GMP compliance, process improvement and process development.
* Advanced understanding of product development challenges and methods for resolution. Ability to resolve most day-to-day issues and develop mitigation plans.
* Solid skills using MS Project.
* PMP certification preferred.
