Job Description

Essential Functions

Must abide by all plant safety policies and procedures. Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products. This equipment is an acid cleaning line, zinc plating barrel line and an automatic zinc plating rack line. Works from tool analysis, prints, written and verbal instructions and must be able to sequence sizes and shapes of parts with respect to rectifier control to maintain quality. Will be required to make out paperwork associated with the Plating Department; such as S.P.C. recording, machining activity reports, move tickets and labor reporting. Must develop the technique of visual inspection and add chromate as needed to maintain color and brilliance. Must be able to recognize parts requiring movement during plating and also parts requiring partial rotation. Will perform all material handling associated with the Plating Department. Will get work assignments from the Plating Technician and is required to report any suspected sub-quality to the Plating Technician. Accountable for process evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basis. Participate in department, process, and safety team activities and projects. Performs other duties as assigned by the Plating Technician and/or the Department Manager or Leader.


1. Must have a high school education or equivalent.2. Must be able to perform considerable physical effort work.3. Must be able to use simple measuring instruments such as a scale or caliper.4. Must have basic computer skills.5. Good communication skills.6. A high degree of initiative and a work record which has demonstrated good interpersonal and teamwork skills.7. Must always be willing to work safely! 8. Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

2nd Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00PM, Monday-Friday (can change)
