SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
The first fully accredited sleep disorders center in Georgia, Northside s Sleep Disorder Center utilizes the latest technology in diagnosing and treating sleep/wake disorders. Sleep rooms are designed to be quiet and comfortable (spa-like) and include full bathrooms with shower, flat-screen televisions, cable network and new furniture. Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, we provide medical consultations, day and night sleep studies and a wide range of treatment options, education and follow-up care. Our highly specialized team of sleep professionals treat more than 1,000 patients a month for problems such as sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy and more. And having a full-time on-site, Board-Certified Sleep Specialist puts the centers at a level of service unsurpassed by many other sleep labs in the area.
The Polysomnographic Technologist will be responsible for preparing adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing. Monitors the polysomnogram and documents per policy.
Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations. One year experience in sleep study activity. Must be CPR certified. Registry in polysomnography from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
