A B JOB INFORMATION B Work under limited supervision to support customer account teams (CAT) in coordinating all aspects of the firm s relationship with assigned lenders in areas of loan origination, underwriting, quality control, and loan delivery to ensure that loans meet the firm s specific guidelines and requirements. Prepare accurate, current, and accessible reports. Perform special projects requested by management. B KEY JOB FUNCTIONS B DIV UL LI Review loans for quality assurance, misrepresentation, and risk. Analyze and report on loan quality issues. Recommend changes. Monitor corrective actions. LI Review and manage outstanding repurchases. Work with lenders to resolve issues or repurchase loan. Collect funds. Troubleshoot outstanding repurchases. Ensure compliance with the firm requirements. LI Collaborate with CAT on lender variance requests. LI Respond to underwriting and product inquiries. Escalate issues as appropriate. LI Identify customer development and training needs. Provide training as needed. LI May perform moderately complex projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects. LI UL DIV EDUCATION DIV UL LI Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required LI UL DIV MINIMUM EXPERIENCE DIV UL LI 2 years of related experience LI UL DIV SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE amp SKILLS DIV DIV nbsp DIV UL class noindent LI Prefer a minimum of 4 years of manual underwriting experience. LI Understanding of traditional mortgage origination and underwriting practices LI In-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae s underwriting and quality control guidelines strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills. LI Effective written and verbal communication presentation skills. LI Intermediate user of MS Word and MS
