JOB DESCRIPTIONSUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Post Doctoral Fellow is responsible for the design and characterization of small molecules and will participate in the preparation of research results for publication. This position will interact with other researchers in the field. Other duties as assigned.

* Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field
* Strong background and experience in synthetic organic chemistry
* Hands-on experience in obtaining NMR spectra and analysis
* Hands-on experience in the field of carbohydrate synthesis
* Hands-on experience with biochemical lab techniques

This position uses equipment that requires the ability to distinguish between different colors, as well as distinguish between variations of the same color.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; and/or visual inspection at distances close to the eyes., The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines where the seeing job is at or within arm s reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenters or technicians.
The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts or vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals or hazards.
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

$35,000 - $40,000 (commensurate with education and/or experience)
