Position Overview
The Practice Administrator is a strong leader who is responsible for the organization, supervision, and management of a large academic medical center practice, including a large residency program.
Expanding Pediatric Specialty practice with significant number of Pediatric Specialty Providers
Seeking a strategic thinker who is able to effectively operationalize departmental strategy. Strengths need to include a team approach to problem solving, ability to coach and supervise in a manner that engages staff as well as strong organizational and planning skills.

Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrates strong, decisive, leadership capabilities, a results-oriented focus, and active involvement in program development
Assists in long range planning for business development, strategic growth and exceptional patient satisfaction.
Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team; facilitates the completion of team goals.
Initiates action to continuously improve quality and safety conditions and processes; engages providers and staff through collaboration, identifies improvement opportunities, generates ideas, and implements solutions, and defines better performance as well as outcomes.

Position Qualifications Include:

Bachelors Degree required: Masters degree preferred
Five years experience in a leadership position in a healthcare setting
Medical Practice Executive Certification (CMPE)preferred
Ambulatory care experience required; pediatric and practice management experience strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage individuals and teams in a positive, customer-focused manner
Demonstrated business knowledge and ability to set goals and manage multiple complicated tasks.
