Under the general direction of the Practice Manager is responsible for the care of patients, the clinical area and various clerical duties. Also, performs various receptionist duties for a physician group or individual physician which includes scheduling patients, clinic visits, entering charge data for services rendered and coordinating the reception and telecommunication functions for the Department. Maintains records of department utilization. Work is reviewed by supervisors on a regular basis.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Minimum of HS diploma/GED plus Certificate in Medical Assisting. EXPERIENCE: Experienced assistants preferred but will train on the job KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must have EKG/Phlebotomy and clinical skills from training at an accredited school. Good communications skills in English. Additional language skills is a plus. Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information. apply now
