A B JOB INFORMATION B Applies comprehensive knowledge of real estate in performing one or more complex duties related to managing and selling real estate owned (REO) properties. Recommend action to resolve discrepancies. Compile data and prepare a variety of reports. Perform special projects. May have lead responsibility. B KEY JOB FUNCTIONS B UL LI Manage the foreclosure and eviction process for foreclosed properties. Minimize timelines to reduce credit risk. Collaborate as needed with internal and external vendors. Monitor legal issues. LI Review, research, identify, and resolve title issues for foreclosed properties. Coordinate with internal staff, external vendors, title companies, and title attorneys. Act as liaison between title vendors and servicers. LI Ensure prompt submission of primary mortgage insurance (MI) claims. Reconcile MI payments. LI Manage closing process for re-sold properties. Order title vendors. Approve closing documents. Collect net sales proceeds. Resolve issues preventing final disposition of REO properties. LI Process lender losses on foreclosed properties. File Government and Conventional 2035 claims. Reconcile claims daily. Prepare reports. LI Analyze, review, and monitor vendor performance. Suggest enhancements. Provide training as needed. Assist in implementing and monitoring new policies and procedures. LI Respond to inquiries and requests. LI Perform periodic analyses and review of data. Investigate questionable data. Advise senior staff regarding current status and outstanding items. LI Update databases to ensure that information is accurate, complete, and accessible. Maintain records and files. LI Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and the firm s policies. LI DIV Managing a portfolio of redemption and or eviction files. DIV LI DIV Monitoring the eviction redemption process at the loan level including maintaining updating internal databases with the appropriate documentation. DIV LI DIV Daily interaction with internal and external partners including law firms and real estate agents. DIV LI DIV Overseeing vendors to ensure adherence to Fannie Mae s policies and procedures.
