In the Prefabricated Data Centers LoB we have identified the need to have in our West Chester facility a Quality, Safety and Industrialization position located in the site having close short-interval interactions with purchasing, production, tendering and offer creation.

DESCRIPTION
This Production Optimization position will support our Production driving actions for the continuous improvement of Prefab Data Centers production processes, focused on cost reduction, always keeping a high Quality & Safety standard.

He/She will be responsible for the design and deployment of quality systems and methods supporting one or more product lines within the site. Working closely with the Schneider quality communities within the Lines of Business and Global Supply Chain, this position will proactively seek methods to control and improve all quality measures for products produced from this site.

Additionally, this role is responsible for deploying all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements for the manufacturing, warehouse, and office facilities & personnel. The role is responsible for monitoring these processes and practices, as well as periodic auditing to ensure compliance. The role also reports on these issues as required by corporate standards and state and federal law.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Identify metrics required for Quality monitoring, provide reporting against those measures, and proactively notify management when measures are trending outside of desired parameters.

* Work closely with vendors and contractors to resolve quality concerns or issues.

* Work collaboratively with Operations Management, Field Service and Sales on field quality issues (Identify source of quality concerns, fix/mitigate current concern and find root cause to prevent future issues).

* Monitor Health & Safety requirements for Manufacturing and Office personnel. Take remedial action as required, and report any on-going concerns to management.

* Participate in Safety Committee for the facility.

* Define, document and make apply improvements on Project Execution in Production phase.

* Factory Supply Chain definition: critical subassemblies make or buy analysis, recurrent articles stock convenience, inputs to prioritize suppliers.

* Work with Production Manager, Purchasing & Procurement to validate initiatives, launch prototypes and make cost analysis to identify best industrialization-to-cost option.

* Participate on OCP to provide feedback for Offer development.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

* Previous experience in Quality for a manufacturing facility preferred.

* Experience managing Field quality issues for electrical equipment preferred.

* Microsoft office proficiency

* Evidence of experience with and adaptability in use of computer systems for business operations.

* Experience in industrial environment is desired.

* Spanish speaking is a plus.
