Our ideal candidate for the Prevailing Wage/Payroll Administrator is highly detail oriented, very organized, and resourceful in the face of difficult questions. This person is proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and is a good communicator and has a collaborative work style.
The Prevailing Wage/Payroll Administrator?s job entails providing administrative support to day-to-day operations of human resources functions and duties such as payroll and compensation, benefits, certified payroll, and employee data records. The Prevailing Wage/Payroll Administrator works closely with the Vice President and Payroll/HR Administrator and liaises with other departments throughout the organization, providing a customer focused and effective HR support service to achieve company goals and objectives.
COMPENSATION AND TERMS
? Position is three-quarter time to full-time depending on workload
? Salary range is $38000 - $43000 annual equivalent (depends upon experience)
? Position is set to start ASAP
? Competitive Paid Time Off package, plus 6 Paid holidays
? Complying with Prevailing Wage/certified payroll reporting requirements
? Complying with hiring and reporting for project-specific contract requirements
? Cross training to possibly assist in advising employees regarding benefit administration, HR procedures, and policies within specified guidelines
? Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer
? At least one of the following:
Proficiency with payroll software (Timberline, Sage, AboutTime)
Experience complying with Prevailing Wage requirements
? One to two years experience in a Human Resources position would be ideal.
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
