p In the context of a rapidly evolving pricing environment, Amgen's increasing emphasis on geographic expansion and acquisition/licensing as drivers of growth, and a commitment to demonstrate product value, Amgen requires an increasingly sophisticated reimbursement and pricing capability to support market access. The capabilities of the InterContinental Value Access & Policy function positions Amgen for future success towards this business-critical imperative. This team is responsible for strategic planning of value and access for all Amgen molecules in development, beginning in Phase I-II and extending throughout commercialization across the Amgen portfolio. This work also includes life cycle planning and access support for selected in-the-market products. Additionally, the team is responsible for regional strategic pricing, including recommendations for affiliate prices and launch sequence. /p p /p p The Pricing and Reimbursement Manager will lead projects across all business units (Oncology, Inflammation, Bone Health, Cardiology, Neuroscience, General Medicine, and Biosimilars) within the InterContinental Region (Latin America, Canada, Turkey, and the Middle East). This individual will work closely with the Regional Pricing Lead to deliver price governance, support regional product pricing, as well as ad hoc analytics as needed. /p p /p p The Pricing and Reimbursement Manager will work collaboratively across affiliates and functions to ensure comprehensive advice is gathered within scope of his/her assigned responsibilities and create and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders. These stakeholders include pricing and access colleagues in each affiliate, as well as Global Pricing & Market Access (GPMA), and Finance. /p p /p p Accountabilities: /p p br / Reporting to the InterContinental Pricing Lead, the role: br / /p p Delivers Price Analysis (IRP, Price Erosion, Price Premium, Situational Analysis, Price Planning) to InterContinental RPL and Access Team, providing high quality insights and recommendations br / /p p Approves and reviews all contracts in GCPS that trigger price governance br / /p p Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the quality of the analytics performed by the team br / /p p Support affiliates in the legalization of Price Certificates br / /p p Keeps GCPS list prices updated ensuring consistency across different systems br / /p p Provides analytical support for the development of price guidance process for InterContinental countries /p p /p p Responsibilities: br / /p p Monitor price floors, and escalate when the cases need Regional Pricing Lead (RPL) supervision br / /p p Maintain price list structures and supporting documentation for government price submissions, including government request and submission rationale br / /p p Administer communication between affiliates and region(s) supporting annual pricing processes (budget, policy, exceptions, etc.) in collaboration with RPL br / /p p Provide contracting support (aligning contract types to contract strategy) br / /p p Monitor net pricing vs. pricing policies Conduct ad-hoc analytics using available pricing tools br / /p p Support RPL for Business Cases, including launch sequence optimization /p p /p p
