Western Zirconium Plant, part of the Nuclear Fuel Business Unit of Westinghouse, in Ogden, Utah has an opening for an experienced Engineer. We produce and fabricate zirconium metal products for national and international markets.
In this position, a Principal Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical and administrative leadership within the manufacturing / engineering department in equipment, systems, and processes for use in commercial nuclear power plants.
Experience Requirements:
* Typically 10 or more years - minimum 5 years
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy,
- Knowledge of complex engineering processes
- Experience in process development, qualification and optimization
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively work independently
- Must have excellent documentation skills
- Must have strong problem solving and organizational skills and be detail oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
