Job Description:
Administer National Security Information program for the Environmental Protection Agency. Work closely with NSI Program Team responsible for EPA information secuirty program. Duties include creating and updating of EPA guidance IAW Executive Orders and other federal regulatory guidance. Coordinate facility and program requirements with other government agencies as well as EPA security representatives. Develop and administer education and self inspection programs to ensure compliance with executive orders and EPA regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience.
- Must possess Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, maintenance of physical and electronic records/databases.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct various briefings for small groups.
- Ability to organize information and provide updates on programs to management.
- Experience with determining national requirements from federal guidance and developing agency guidance for national level program.
- Experience with developing and administering Security Education and Awareness Training program.
- Experience with development of standard operating procedures based on office processes.
- Experience with assessment of programs to determine compliance and ability to develop recommendations to improve compliance.
- Experience with administering security clearance management systems.
- Solid writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
Desired:
- Experience with Lotus Notes.
- Experience with preparing reports/briefings based on inspections of programs.
- Exceptional team member skills and willingness to train on cross functional areas.
- Experience with freedom of information act requests
Education Requirements:
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and eight to ten years of related experience and ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE, or other government security program.
Clearance Requirements: Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
