JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL TRAINER

$65,700 - $97,500
The goal of the UCPath end-user training is to prepare UC Riverside employees with the knowledge and skills to successfully transition to UCPath in conjunction with the campus Future Operating Model (FOM) objective. The Principal Trainer's key role is to work in partnership with the Principal Instructional Designer to finalize the course catalogs for deployment to Sr. Design Support/Trainers end-user classes. This position will act as the point person for executing and communicating training roll-out plans and training application timelines, and will also conduct in-person training, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Certificate in online training
Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Experience with Oracle's PeopleSoft HRMS and UPK or other similar software and training modules.
Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience.
Advanced knowledge of training and development, performance management and workplace learning. Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
Advanced knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Advanced analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
Advanced skills in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective training delivery.
Advanced knowledge of training and delivery methodologies, organizational diagnosis and organization and business strategies.
Advanced knowledge of functional area and advanced understanding of how work impacts other areas in human resources and the organization.
Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and advanced presentation skills.
Knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes and experience working in Higher Education.
