Dynacraft
Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA, which is a suburb of Seattle. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium and heavy-duty truck parts sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company s truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Dynacraft has two manufacturing facilities in Algona, WA and Louisville, KY.
Frontline Quality Assurance contact for PACCAR OEM s & suppliers
Product and/or process auditing for significant portion of shift
Provide analytical support to Dynacraft process owners regarding product / process quality issues
Field Supplier Development contact
ISO 9001 internal quality auditor
Identify and facilitate improvement initiatives utilizing customer feedback to help identify opportunities to resolve quality issues
Conduct, initiate, issue, and follow up on closed loop corrective action analysis
Coordinate Material Review Board / Quarantine material process activities and disposition suspect material
Perform on-going customer material and warranty inspections, possibly on-site
Coordinate statistical process control / pre control functions
Coordinate calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment
Training facilitation (ISO 9001, SPC, Internal Auditing, Closed Loop Corrective Action, CI Tools)
Ensure all Dynacraft standards are maintained.
Benchmark other PACCAR locations and non-PACCAR locations for best practices
Participate in developing and executing Quality department goals and objectives
Excellent communication skills along with proactive thought Basic understanding of Quality Management tools, measuring equipment Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications including National/International standards Five (5) years manufacturing experience or minimum of Three (3) years directly related experience Must possess PC based computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, familiarity with Minitab or equivalent Demostrated ability to facilitate team efforts and work under minimal supervision. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
Experience with ISO 9000/9001/14000/14001, TS16949, or QS 9000 QMS s in a related capacity Candidate must have flexibility to work 2nd shift. At least 5 years manufacturing experience or 3 years of experience with quality systems
EDUCATION/TRAINING DESIRED:
Bachelor Degree required Project management experience SAP experience Lean / Six Sigma training/experience
