Process Improvement / Hardware Engineer

This position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process and equipment improvements targeted at improving developer roll cost, quality, and continuity of supply.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be as New Product Introduction Lead for developer roll technologies.

In this role you will provide an interface between the Developer Roll Process Development Team and the Product Development Team to ensure design for robustness/manufacturability and on-schedule product introduction.

Provide insight associated with current and future manufacturing technologies/capabilities.
Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies.
Develop and execute equipment qualification plans.
Understand and execute the existing product introduction process, identify and propose/implement process improvements
Ensure that product and process specifications are developed/documented based on appropriate testing and/or analysis
Assemble and lead teams as required to meet personal and business objectives
Lead the team in the development of standardized processes associated with the development and implementation of new equipment and/or processes
Initiate a change management process for the WW Developer Roll Engineering Team


Requirements:
BS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferable or related engineering disciplines and/or relevant experience.
10 years of related engineering, process and quality improvement expereince
Experience in EP laser printing a plus.
Practical experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Molding, Grinding and/or Spray Coating experience valuable
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required
Project Management skills are required including proficiency in MS Project
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
International business experience is a plus.
Limited domestic and international (Mexico and Asia) travel will be required (5-10%).
