Supply Chain Process Improvement Leader (Black Belt)
$150K - $170K Base + Bonus

Headquartered inFairfax County,VA, our client is one of the largest distributors of building products inNorth America. With more than 300 locations acrossNorth Americathey are recognized for distributing top quality building products and providing superior service.
Do to company growth they are currently seeking an experienced professional to lead their Continuous Improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) initiatives across the entire organization.

Responsibilities:


*Establish & implement the strategic and tactical direction for the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement function

*Develop, train and implement a comprehensive Lean / Six Sigma tool kit

*Develop effective direct and indirect relationships to actively engage stakeholders in each regional / divisional organization

*Lead, manage, implement and expand business improvement processes throughout organization utilizing Lean, Six Sigma and related disciplines

*Assist divisional leaders to identify, screen, interview, and hire key lean divisional resources

*Assist business leaders in selecting projects, project and team leaders, and champions that align with business/functional goals and strategies

*Assist in the coordination and deployment of the Best Practices Improvement Plan



Experience:


*Bachelor's degree

*7-10 years of experience in leading significant continuous improvement projects or programs in a Lean - Six Sigma environment

*Six Sigma Black Belt certification

*Lean certification

*Excellent leadership skills and the ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects and project teams

*Project management experience with the ability to understand and drive cost savings

*Strong influencing and coaching skills

*Proven experience in developing and coaching a team

*Willing to travel at least 50%
