JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) providing expertise in session preparation, facilitation, risk assessment and follow-up.
Lead or help facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk assessments such as Hydrocarbon Risk assessments or Safety Integrity Level (SIL) / Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) reviews.
Lead or participate in major process safety incident investigations as required.
Support Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) processes.
Facilitate or participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
Support Behavioral Safety effort within Supply.
Administer work processes and management systems that support the Supply Strategy.
Plan and lead area focused audits as assigned.
Work in conjunction with regional SHEQ, to lead the Operations & Engineering (O&E) portion of integrated audits as required.
Maintain records and report on Process Safety performance using a combination of leading and lagging indicators.
Promote process safety event reporting within the region.
Assist in communicating alerts, Operations & Engineering Directives (O&EDs), SHEQ, Process Safety and Major Incident Report (MIR) lessons learned.
Create and/or deliver relevant training content with certification and training manager as needed. Track and report on compliance and action gaps as required.
Generate and/or edit Linde Management System & Standards (LiMSS) content (procedures and standards) as directed.
Track and report on overall CAR status in responsible area. Action necessary steps to close high priority gaps in a timely manner. Assist in CAR management as required.
Assist with key customer or regulatory audit preparation, actions, and follow up.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline, chemical or mechanical preferred
Minimum of 15 years experience in a process plant related/engineering or technical operations role
Minimum of 3 years experience working with PSM or RMP covered processes, either as an individual contributor or a leader
Some experience in line management preferred
Must possess a good understanding of process operations and related equipment and technology
Must have excellent logical reasoning ability to understand cause and effect relationships
Ability to develop, lead, and deliver process safety training courses for a broad spectrum of employees ranging from junior plant staff to managerial Field Operations and Engineering staff
Ability to effectively represent Supply Chain to outside agencies, industry bodies, and regulators
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to maintain focus and control of multidiscipline review teams
PHA experience (preferably HAZOP)
Experience leading incident investigations
