* Weekend CMP Sustaining Engineer

* for our Advanced Technology Lab \(ATL\) \- located outside of Baltimore, Maryland \- where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs\.

* Sustaining Engineer

* will be responsible for:
\(1\) maintaining production processes, \(2\) designing and executing process improvement projects, and \(3\) training technicians and maintaining process documentation\. The selected candidate will have an aptitude for technology development and demonstrated ability to communicate well with others and work independently\.The position is a weekend day shift \(1st shift\) position\. The chosen candidate must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday\. The switch to weekend shift will occur after an initial training period\. The chosen candidate will need to work weekday first shift until he/she is trained, which can take from one to three months\.

* Basic Qualifications for Band 2:

* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, or related technical discipline with 2 years of relevant experience \(0 with an MS\)\

* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CMP sustaining or development engineer\
* \
* Experience with relevant measurement techniques for pre\- and post\-CMP process characterization\
* \
* Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

* Basic Qualifications for Band 3:

* \
* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, or related technical discipline with 5 years of relevant experience \(3 with an MS\)\
* \
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CMP sustaining or development engineer\
* \
* Experience with relevant measurement techniques for pre\- and post\-CMP process characterization\
* \
* Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

* Preferred Qualifications:

* MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Electrical Engineering\

* Proficient in equipment troubleshooting and optimization\

* Current Secret Clearance\
