JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Process Technician, Finish Development - Kohler, WI
Are you someone who has a 'Can do' attitude? Do you demonstrate the ability to succeed in a team environment while acquiring new hands on skills? We are hiring a Process Technician - Finish Development within our Global Faucets business. The Process Technician develops all necessary process documentation and training while supporting development of multiple projects. This position is responsible for effective operation and basic maintenance of equipment for the newly created finish development center. This position will support development activities using existing production equipment. In addition, the associate will support implementation of the new developed finish at the production site.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
* Associate college degree.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in PVD, plating and organic coatings is preferred.
* Experience with managing wet baths preferred.
* Establish preventative maintenance procedures for all plating and cleaning equipment.
* Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
* Perform chemical titrations and other analytical measurements to set up plating and cleaning baths to ensure they are running within specifications.
* Ability to conduct or learn plating titrations.
* Ability to lift 30 lbs.
