span The Asset Operations / Buyer is a corporate based role supporting all branches and locations with day to day operations of  Asset / Fleet activities for the Company.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration of asset systems, supplier management to include submitting orders, scheduling, outfitting, and delivering vehicles and equipment, invoice coding and processing, along with data entry for assets records.  The Asset Operations Buyer will report to the Director of Procurement / Asset Management. br Job Responsibilities br • Support supplier development and reporting for Cost, Quality, Service and Delivery. br • Maintain detailed, accurate, up to date information for all company vehicles and equipment (assets), update asset information as changes occur. Keep driver and vehicles assignments up to date in systems along with all equipment in the maintenance system. Provide reports from systems like, E360/HCSS, DMS, Rentalman and Fleetmatics   br • Find and develop suppliers for Fleet Operations. br • Submit invoices for payment via AP invoicing system, reconcile charges from suppliers, and apply department coding on a monthly basis; enter asset data into reporting systems br • Support and back up the vehicle tag/registration compliance business partner, including monitoring annual registration renewals, and updating asset systems br • Work with risk team to ensure annual insurance card distribution and accident / equipment loses are properly documented in asset/fleet systems br • Process and document disposal actions br • Review mileage and fuel data for apportioned and CDL vehicles br • Maintain accurate and compliant IFTA and HWY use tax records br • Work with business partners to provide detailed vehicle and equipment information for Regional Asset / Fleet Managers promoting fleet utilization and reliability br • Using the data provided by the Regional Asset / Fleet Managers to coordinate the transportation of equipment between Branches br • Assist with annual personal use reporting (overhead vehicles) for assigned employees as required br • Maintains accurate inventory records for all company assets br • Other duties and tasks required by Management   br   br Qualifications/Job Requirements: br • HS diploma and 10 years operations experience or AA/BA in Finance / 5 years br • Capital purchasing and Maintenance background a plus br • Asset / Fleet inventory experience strongly preferred br • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers, suppliers, business partners, and leadership br • Ability to interact with internal and external business partners supporting corporate policy, standards, processes and procedures br • Proficient in understanding, analysis, and synthesizing of data to support equipment and vehicle information systems. br • Strong proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office programs, internet based applications, and Asset / Fleet Management Software br • Self-motivated, able to manage expectations, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast paced, high energy environment br • Knowledge of federal, local, and state laws to support compliance of all vehicle related records br • Strong customer service and organization skills required br • Works well in a team environment by supporting departmental initiatives and goals.   br • Provide excellent communication skills, both written and verbal br • Must have a valid US sta
