TITLE: PROCUREMENT ANALYST

LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA

DESCRIPTION:

The Procurement Analyst supports and improves the purchasing process throughout the organization and assists with sourcing initiatives as directed. The Analyst procures materials, equipment, and services for the company by obtaining competitive quotes, analyzing responses, and negotiating prices with vendors.

Prepare, solicit, and analyze quotes and competitive bids from vendors and negotiate pricing as required under established thresholds
*

Manage the day-to-day purchasing process by ensuring purchase orders are correctly dispatched to vendors and all payment or 3-way matching issues with Accounts Payable and the business owner are resolved
*

Assist with strategic sourcing initiatives - identify sourcing opportunities, gather internal business requirements, research potential vendors, assist in RFP development, analyze RFP responses, and prepare scorecard and results for internal review and vendor selection
*

Evaluate and approve vendors and purchases under established thresholds
*

Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures, improve buying processes, make employees aware of policies and procedures, and ensure compliance
*

Administer internal procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Pcard) and provide training to employees as needed
*

Oversee vendor contracts - gather and analyze key terms such as renewal dates and notices and capture in system and regularly monitor and report on upcoming terminations and renewals
*

Manage and monitor vendor compliance, ensuring company use of preferred vendors and that those vendors are providing contracted pricing

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree
*

3 years of purchasing experience OR 5 years of other relevant business experience
*

Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or Purchasing
*

Experience in technology buying
*

Experience in using a leading purchasing software solution
*

Knowledge of principles and practices of purchasing goods and services
*

Solid understanding of the purchase-to-pay process
*

Negotiating, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
*

Demonstrated analytical skills
