Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM) is looking for a highly innovative and collaborative project designer to join the MXM Lowe s Creative Ideas Team. The Producer oversees conceptualization, design, coordination, and execution of DIY projects for Lowe s content marketing. This currently includes project content for the Lowe s Creative Ideas app, as well as web and social media deliverables and special projects as assigned. This position collaborates with Senior Producers, Editors, and Art Directors to translate creative concepts into strong photographic and video content that achieve the client s marketing objectives.

MXM creates projects for Lowe s that include home design, remodeling, gardening and landscape, woodworking, as well as small creative projects.
The Producer manages projects and project budgets, collaborates on concepts, color schemes, and propping with the client and art director, finds locations, oversees set construction, and styles projects for finished photography. The Producer also prepares accurate how-to steps and records all costs and materials for accurate representation of all projects.

Essential Job Functions:
-Collaborates with Editorial and Design staff to brainstorm, plan, and execute assigned projects.
-Oversees photographic phases of projects including planning, executing and attending/overseeing photo shoots.
-Researches, identifies and secures locations, props and appropriate merchandise per approved visual plans.
-Develops and maintains shoot schedules with art directors. Maintains project budgets and schedules. Complete budgeting worksheets, expense reports, and detailed documentation of how-to steps to insure projects are represented to the reader in the most effective manner.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Interior design, Graphic Design, Architecture or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years related experience in publishing and/or experience with project design and management.
Previous photography/design/producer experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sense of photographic/design presentation.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Experience scheduling and budgeting home improvement projects.
Exceptionally creative and innovative thinker
Flexible designer willing to adjust to client and editorial objectives
Ability to convey project proposals with drawings or renderings
