Product Applications Engineer

- Provide technical applications engineering support directly to customers via telephone, email and internet toolsResolve customer technical problems utilizing digital design and analysis skills Evaluate new software products and provide defect and enhancement information through product testing Document product change requests, workarounds and problem solutions Utilize customer case management and bug tracking database to maintain/retrieve customer case status, call activity, change request and solutions Work on special projects, including: Review and quality check technical and product documentation Convert, optimize and improve select customer designs Design and develop application notes and application tutorials Generate and deliver training and technical information to customers and company other engineers
- Ability to communicate technical information in an organized and understandable fashion Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills with a confident presence Team oriented Customer oriented approach with a demonstrated concern and desire to work with and assist customers Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and track many activities Demonstrated problem solving skills and creative interactive approaches to tackling problems Detailed knowledge of digital design practices and principles Programming and scripting language experience a plusXilinx product experience and customer management tool experience desired BS or Masters in EE/ECE or equivalent
