SKF Group is a leading global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems and services which include technical support, maintenance and reliability services, engineering consulting and training. SKF was founded in 1907 and today SKF is represented in more than 130 countries with over 45,000 employees. This position is part of the Global SKF Product Engineering organization. SKF Aerospace engineers and manufactures solutions including aeroengine and gearbox bearings, airframe and elastomeric bearings, seals, structural, motion control and mechatronic products for the global Aerospace market. This position will be located in Falconer, NY.
This role will be a leader within the local Product Engineering community. Responsibilities will include use and administration of CAD and PLM systems, managing and updating design standards, and developing and documenting design best practices. Work split is approximately 40% modeling and drafting, 30% work on standards, 20% training/mentoring, and 10% system administration. This role will use both PTC (Creo/Windchil) and Siemens (NX/Teamcenter) systems.

Minimum Education/ Experience Requirements

* Associate s Degree or Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or related experience

* Experience with commercial CAD and PLM software

* Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR Compliant)

* Travel 10-15% (both US and International)


The following qualifications would be considered a plus

* Knowledge of a variety of programming languages (C++, Fortran, Python, VB)

* Experience training/teaching and creating work instructions
