Product Health Safety Engineer

Our client a leading company in the development and integration of logistic/supply chain systems is seeking a Product Health & Safety Engineer to join the management team. Your role will be responsible for working with and supervising technicians and act as an advisory on health and safety issues. Communicates with customers of non-compliance or any issues that may arise. This position requires specialized knowledge, the ability to work independently, and make sound judgment. Your busy day will consist of scheduling and performing on-site inspections Investigates national and international regulatory standards Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria Generates and revises reports and documentation Problem solve and suggest solutions to any problems that may arise Manages projects independently with minimum supervision Ensure the Distribution center is a safe working environment and meets standards Collaborate and inform management of any issues relating to health and safety Keeps all client information and internal company information confidential Job Requirements: Job Requirements In order to qualify for this role ideally you must have: Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred) Health and Safety background Good communication, customer relations and project management skills Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience Ability to travel to meet clients and work in various Distribution Centers across the county Eager to learn Understanding of national and international regulatory standards This position offers Tons of Personal and Financial Growth Potential Keywords: Retail, Engineering, International Logistics, Manager, Materials Handling, Safety, Supply Chain
