Responsibilities
As a Product Line Manager-Warrior Apparel, you will be responsible for managing the complete Apparel lifecycle from development through delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet or exceed expectations for performance, cost, manufacturability, and quality. In this role, you will analyze supply markets and provide actionable capacity forecasting and improved buy processes. You will provide direction and partnership to regional and overseas offices ensuring that global product development and sourcing objectives are met. You will develop and maintain relationships with vendors and work with them to negotiate prices and coordinate production placement. Using your strong problem solving skills, you will resolve production issues to guarantee on-time delivery of quality product. You will implement corrective actions to avoid defects in the future. You will encourage and motivate your team to superior performance.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Business Administration. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Sourcing, Merchandising, or Product Development with a concentration on import, export or offshore production. Must have 4 years of management experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of fabric performance, garment construction, production processes, and general logistic aspects of industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required.
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
