Product Manager (304722-570)

The key role of the Product Manager is to manage and market select product lines to the respective end-users. This position is responsible for co-developing the long-term strategy for products and their position within the companys product portfolio in concert with various segment leads. You will be responsible for delivering volume, sales and profit commitments with the resources approved in the budget. In addition, the product manager serves as the project leader for execution of new products and programs and is responsible for developing and meeting project timelines. Ability to work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization to seek input, gain agreement and ensure that product programs are delivered on time and on budget. In addition, this position functions as the central liasion for information about the brand, including product specifications, usage, capabilities, colors, etc. The Product Manager must possess a unique blend of tactical execution ability with the ability to think strategically and analytically. Areas of Responsibility: Monitoring marketplace trends Product Positioning and Messaging Label Development Product Improvements Product Communications New product development Provide technical leadership to sales representatives Work collaboratively with Segment Leads to promote products Product Evaluation
Bachelors degree required (MBA a strong plus)
2-5 years Product Management Experience
Strong analytical and negotiation skill
Long-range planning skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Outstanding Customer Focus/Relationship BuilderPosition located in Montvale, NJ. Must be able to travel to Flanders, NJ for meeting and as well as other locations based upon business needs.
