Accuray is currently seeking a Product Manager to work out of our Sunnyvale, CA location.
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities Define the product strategy and roadmap Deliver market and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification Work with strategic portfolio management for product development approvals Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Product Marketing) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning. Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Select and support beta and/or pilot programs with early-stage products and samples Be an expert with respect to the competition Act as a leader within the company Required experience and knowledge
Requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager in the radiation oncology community preferred Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products 10+ years of experience in a job in the medical device industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) Clinical or technical background, with experience in radiation therapy or radiosurgey a plus Excellent teamwork skills Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Must be able to travel 25-40% of the time
