As a Product Manager I you will:



* Position manages and directs the development of deposit related services and marketing initiatives that result in the acquisition, activation, cross-sell, profitability, retention and/or product development for their respective line of business.

* Position assists in creating the strategic plan for their line of business which includes fee income growth, performance, product development, pricing, customer experience, and management of revenue and expense goals.

* Position interacts with senior managers in conveying business line strategies, in developing sales goals, and in providing summary results of business initiatives.

* Position will lead various projects, and direct the actions of project participants who are outside the business unit.

* Position will interface daily with senior level managers within the Retail and other lines of business within Commerce to influence sales, present campaign results, and gain approval for planning and budgets.

* There will be close contact with Retail Product Management, CBI Marketing, IT, Legal and Compliance and branch personnel.

* Position must be effective in leading projects that cross departmental lines. Collaboration is important as many systems and products are interrelated.

* Candidate must understand how various products and systems fit in the larger Commerce organization.

* External contacts may include deposit origination and servicing vendors, various marketing and Direct Mail providers, industry experts, etc.

* Position will have contact with customers for elevated customer service issues.



Education:



* Four year college degree in business or related field. Advanced degree preferred.



Preferred Applicants will have:



* Experience in product management, business line management, marketing, or related field experience.

* Experience in pricing and or marketing strategies.

* Experience in directing customer experience and value proposition.

* Experience in business and strategic planning.

* Experience in consumer deposit compliance preferred.

* Industry knowledge and technical experience preferred.
