Job Title: Product Manager

Summary of Position:The Product Manager will be responsible for the global growth of defined products within the incredible Airseal product line. Primary focus will be the successful global commercialization of products through support of sales short term and long term strategic projects as assigned. Close collaboration with other marketing, sales and R&D personnel is required. Activities include but are not limited to, product launch, sales collateral development, customer education for products and procedures, sales support, KOL development, & analyzing program analysis, metrics and market data. This individual is expected to ensure the execution and support of the corporate operating plan and company objectives. He/She should have a clear understanding of marketing principles, good project management skills and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: Experience and knowledge of the laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery market. Work with field sales force to promote products and identify opportunities for product improvements Participate in sales force training and national sales meetingsWork with sales, marketing and financial team members to create and implement pricing/financial programsInitiate and coordinate product launches and execute activities in collaboration with clinical, R&D and sales teamsMaintain and distribute competitive information to field sales and managementDevelop and execute product positioning and branding strategy which will result in SurgiQuest products becoming the standard of care in the laparoscopic surgery marketCreate promotional, educational, clinical and other support programs and materials. Evaluate the effectiveness of such programs and recommend improvements or changesDevelop detailed plans to launch new procedures including, timing, field and customer training Develop and update competitive intelligence and establish product positioning, sales force training and education that incorporates competitive intelligenceDevelop close surgeon relationships and new KOLs for the benefit of the companyResponsible for management of assigned expenses within budgetOther duties and responsibilities as directed by managerMinimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred3-5+ years related experience in successful marketing and sales roles in the medical device industry.
