Salary: $90K-120K Bonus: 20%

Job Description:

*

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution of the Product Lines.
*

Conduct market research, benchmarking analysis and competitive threat analysis
*

Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
*

Define the product vision and market strategy
*

Successfully launch new products and product lines
*

Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, procurement and manufacturing to ensure revenue and profit goals are met.
*

Provide strategic leadership for the Silver King product offering by developing and executing product development roadmaps and innovation initiatives which create demand, achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the business.
*

Manage the intellectual property strategy to build and protect our competitive moat
*

Manage the product development and capital investment budgets to ensure that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
*

Define the product strategy and roadmap and develop an annual operating plan for the product line to meet or exceed financial targets;
*

Track and measure results to plan, and analyze new opportunities to continually learn and prioritize future growth investments;
*

Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples;
*

Conduct market and competitive assessments to evaluate market share, market trends, new development areas and penetration opportunities by product and segment;
*

Be a subject matter expert with respect to the competition. Conduct competitive market assessments to evaluate market share, trends, penetration opportunities by market and product segment;
*

Develop and execute product line pricing strategy, analysis and implementation;
*

Manage all Beta and customer test locations carefully tracking results and communicating ongoing test results, and actionable items to all relevant departments;
*

Team with marketing to develop marketing materials including but not limited to price lists, catalogs, spec sheets, etc. including any communication regarding price adjustments, product updates, etc.

Qualifications and Competencies

*

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; MBA preferred;
*

7-10 years professional experience as a product manager in the foodservice industry;
*

Strong knowledge and understanding of the foodservice end user, dealer, and distributor channels and customers;
*

Demonstrated success defining and launching successful products;
*

Demonstrated ability to achieve results by influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority;
*

Strong verbal and written communication skills;
*

Solid project management skills in contributing to the commercialization and go-to market efforts for new products;
*

Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking, planning and product development;
*

Solid financial, market planning, and analysis skills;
*

A desire to create practical/innovative solutions using intellectual inquisitiveness;
*

A high level of energy and passion;
*

Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time, occasional international travel;
