You will work with engineers defining product release requirements and technical specifications, and with project managers assuring timeliness and quality of the deliverables. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channels and key customers alike.
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities across all involved teams, and product release management.
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
Develop and maintain product roadmaps as a communication vehicle for current and future projects
Research new technologies available on the market which can enhance product functionality
Run pilot programs with early release products which would involve internal staff as well as selected customer base
Have integral knowledge of Integration Product as well as Integrity Product concepts
Brief and train the sales force if required across various technical levels
Create documentation content and training material for the Education and Documentation services
3+ years of software product management experience
Knowledgeable in technology space
Ability to handle stress and changing priorities is key to success
Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience is a strong plus
This position can require future travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe (20)
