So if you want to work somewhere with Room for You, find out more about this exciting career opportunity described below Our Americas Corporate office, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for a Product Manager \- Hotel Interface for our Property Product and Systems team\.This position will be based at our office in the Ravinia complex \(Dunwoody, GA\)\. This exciting role will be a one stop shop or hub for driving all strategy, new development, and performance enhancements for specific set of products within IHG s proprietary hotel management systems, which impacts all channels, regions, customer segments and brands\. The product platform provides the revenue for the company and all of our hotels management and distribution for virtually anything that any IHG hotel can offer\. This initiative will lead to a major transformation in the way that IHG sells its products and services in the future and also requires seamless integration across IHG s revenue and operations technologies \(PMS,S&C, POS, RMS, data warehouse, Magic, HCM, etc\.\) Product Manager coordinates among tactical analysts, developers, and functional subject matter experts to create holistic product solutions for Property Based Systems \. The Product Manager will manage the end to end product lifecycle from idea inception through development and launch, leveraging specialists, operators, and stakeholders along the way\. They define product needs via a roadmap of initiatives mapped out over a predetermined cycled timeline\. Additional duties:
\-Lead development and implementation of product strategy future state based on deep understanding of how the business works, incorporating customer insights, markets, competition, and distribution capabilities as well as the potential game changing new functionality and capabilities IHG will require to compete\. This should manifest itself in a roadmap of initiatives including small enhancement and content refreshments to existing products as well as new product needs\. \-Work in collaboration with Operations, Technology, Revenue Management, DRM, Brands and other business subject matter experts to integrate new CRs features into upstream applications and business plans\. \-Measure product performance and lead performance improvement initiatives\. Identify and understand the performance drivers and set up ongoing diagnostics and monitoring capabilities once implemented\. \-Drive new product development through the writing of sound business requirementsbased on business capabilities which will define the functionality in the new systems\. \-Manage product lifecycles:
continually evaluate product performance and key customer insights and ensure new product needs are identified far enough in advance to address needs before product obsolescence\. \-Communicate product information:
including product roadmap, specifications, value proposition, sales tools training tools and competitive information to stakeholders\. Provide status updates to PMO for regular reporting cycles\. Responsibilities listed above are generic to the role but will be applied in specific areas of the business and therefore will require specific subject matter knowledge in the following areas:
+ User Experience refers to the User Interface \(UI\) to complement many of the property systems today\. Will include User Research, user adoption and workflow\. + Product refers to core Property Based Systems PMS, S&C and POS, including knowledge of inventory, rates, availability\. + Guest Service Delivery includes working knowledge of hotel operational environment including both on and above property\.Additional responsibilities and subject matter in any of the following areas will be an advantage:
+ Revenue Management refers to traditional RM practices of forecasting/predictive modeling, yield, and pricing recommendations based on complex mathematical modeling, revenue/profit optimization + Sales & Distribution includes all channel revenue delivery for both managed and unmanaged segments of the business + Integration into enterprise solutions Loyalty, CRS, and CRM Band 6 Base Salary and bonus eligibility*
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Hotel Management, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work\-related experienced\. Experience :
8 plus years progressive work\-related experience, must have direct hands on hotel experience, including 3 years experience in product management, product development, marketing or operations, with demonstrated Hospitality Industry experience and understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position\. Technical skills and Knowledge :
+ Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding in a specific area of expertise:

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required\. + Demonstrated experience in detailed product development discovery, documentation, and design work\. + Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to perform research and use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions\. + Demonstrated hotel industry knowledge reflecting the entire customer experience lifecycle \(reservations stay ongoing relationship management\)\. + Demonstrated knowledge of travel distribution channels \(web, CRO, GDS, or TPI\) and reservations sales building blocks \. + Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products \(Word, Excel, Powerpoint\) required + Demonstrated ability to adapt tactics and strategies to fast moving,.
