* is a one stop shop or hub for driving all strategy, new development, and performance enhancements for specific set of products\. The Product Manager coordinates among tactical analysts, developers, and functional subject matter experts to create holistic product solutions for customers/stakeholders and across multiple regions\. The Product Manager will manage the end to end product lifecycle from idea inception through development and launch, leveraging specialists, operators, and stakeholders along the way\. They define product needs via a roadmap of initiatives mapped out over a predetermined cycled timeline\. The Product Manager is someone who is able to look outward, understanding the end customer s needs, and someone who looks inward, managing the value stream that transforms the needs into product enhancements ready to be used by the end customer\. The Product Manager must be able to navigate IHG s large global organization and manage stakeholders who are not only customers, but who also provide operational support\. The Product Manager must have the ability to set and manage priorities judiciously, and help prioritize release scope and dates, and monitor and report on progress\. On a day\-to\-day level, this person will elicit requirements and aggregate input from stakeholders and regional partners, construct user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize stories according to their business value and technical effort, maintain and communicate the backlog for specific products and projects, participate in all scrum meetings, and accept or reject user stories based on the development team s output\.*

+ Oversee day\-to\-day product management of Revenue Management applications/platforms including planning, requirements, schedule, budget, and problem resolution\. + Communicate updates to stakeholders, regional offices, and leadership\. + Prepare and facilitate stakeholder meetings\. + Drive the business direction, strategy, and release plan for the product\(s\)\. + Participate in Agile development activities including authoring user stories and participating in daily stand\-ups and planning and grooming sessions\. + Define, prioritize, and clarify requirements; work with others to understand use cases, features, business rules and overall product goals\. + Build and groom product backlog\(s\)\. Create and groom short\-, medium\-, and long\-term product roadmaps\. + Ensure product development budgets are spent in a way that maximizes IHG s return on investment while minimizing business risk; determine the return/value of each product feature based on the cost to develop versus the revenue/benefit forecast\.\.*

* 8 plus years progressive work\-related experience, with preferred direct hands on hotel experience including 3 years experience in product management, product development, marketing or operations, with demonstrated travel \(hospitality\) industry experience and understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position\.*

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required\. + Demonstrated experience in detailed product development discovery, documentation, and design work\. + Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to perform research and use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decisions\. + Demonstrated hotel industry knowledge reflecting the entire customer experience lifecycle \(reservations stay ongoing relationship management\)\. + Demonstrated knowledge of travel distribution channels \(web, CRO, gds, or tpi\) and reservations sales building blocks \. + Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products \(Word, Excel, Powerpoint\) required + Demonstrated ability to adapt tactics and strategies to fast moving, rapidly evolving marketplace required + Demonstrated ability to use prototyping or simulation in product creation + Experience in formal requirements methodologies such as vision, scope, context, use cases, etc\. preferred\. + Graduate coursework or degree a plus*
