The Product Manager works closely with the Senior Program Manager in the development of new product lines from concept to market release. In addition, they are directly responsible for the day to day running of their categories. They are the communication hub, and expert in the detail of their product lines. This includes detailed knowledge sales, costing, vendors, and the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be a team player, highly organized and detail oriented, able to multi-task, have strong communication skills, and be a pro-active, deadline driven individual. Ability to work independently and efficiently is required.


* Run sales reports as identified by manager, and recommend action
* Set up and label current planogram with sales information
* Review inventory status and recommend potential drops
* Conduct research of competitive environment and present to managers
* Research related trends online and in stores
* Be responsible for the planogramming process
* Input and track all key deadlines on New Line Development List


* Prepare sourcing sheets based on feedback from manager
* Negotiate costing with vendors under direction of manager
* Review all margins, costs, sell price, and retails with manager until final
* Finalize the Line List
* Present line to Safety Team to ensure all items are coded properly


* Input and maintain data in PLM database
* Communicate discontinued product and new line offering to all relevant departments (e.g. catalog, retail, sales, inventory, DC, safety, pre-press, art, overseas offices, vendors and HTS)
* Communicate product specifications to art department
* Track status of artwork mechanicals in Weekly Report
* Review mechanical to confirm specs meet quotation guidelines, have correct UPC, vendor and item number
* Route mechanicals to manager and to safety team for approval
* Track safety testing and alert manager of testing failures
* Track and procure product and packaging samples from vendors and/or HK office, route to necessary departments for proofing
* Confirm all proofing comments are logged and communicated to vendors
* Co-ordinate distribution of approved samples to catalogue, photography and showrooms
* Request mock up samples for planogram set up, showroom and catalog needs
* Assist in tracking production with vendors and inventory department
* Assist manager in handling QC issues


* Minimum 3years experience in product management or in field with related skill sets
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
* Bachelors degree
* Experience with a PLM system a plus
