JOB DESCRIPTIONTHE TEAM: VISION PRODUCTS
Client is a leading supplier of industrial machine vision products, which are used to align, measure, recognize, and inspect all types of products from consumer electronics to automotive parts, from food & beverage packaging to pharmaceuticals.
This Product Marketing Manager will join the Vision Products product marketing team, who generates over $100 million in high-margin revenue. Reporting to Director of Product Marketing, this person will have full responsibility for a multi-million dollar vision product line, covering all aspects from market definition, product definition, product launch, and on-going Sales initiatives. They will also work closely with senior sales and engineering management on product and account strategies, and to be an active participant in the development of the long-term business unit roadmap.
Manage all aspects of your product line.
Provide competitive technical and market analysis for Sales and the Business Unit.
Provide sales and training material for Direct and Channel Sales, and work with Marketing Communication to create lead generation programs.
Work with the Director of Product Marketing and Engineering management to help develop the product roadmap.
Work with the worldwide salesforce to support their market growth initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willing and able to travel20-25% domestically and internationally.
Strong presentation skills and work ethic.
Strong customer focus.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
A MBA is a plus.
Minimum 5years of experience managing or supporting a high tech product line.
Experience in factory automation or machine vision technology is desired.
