PRODUCT SALES ENGINEER (PSE) FOXBORO FIELD DEVICES

Denver,CO, Dallas, TX, Amarillo, TX, Oklahoma City, OK



Responsible for providing primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations. May prepare detailed product specifications.



Key Functions:



Promote Foxboro Field Devices products through all Field Devices sales channels

Act as regional liaison for Field Devices with Foxboro manufacturing and product marketing

Provide technical assistance and Field Devices product training to our Channel Partners and clients

Provide feedback to the factories about market requirements and customer needs

The Field Devices PSE reports to and works closely with the District Sales Manager to promote Field Devices sales growth in Western USA. The Field Devices PSE will be support the Foxboro Channel Partners and provides technical application knowledge to our clients. The total Sales plan for the assigned territory will be identified so that success & results can be tracked.



Job Essential Functions:

Create and maintain territory sales plan

Leverage technical knowledge and skills to identify opportunities Utilize product and application knowledge to create solutions that exactly meet the customers needs

Advise sales of key product differentiation to include in sales tactics to win business

Coordinate deal crafting and positioning with Foxboro Field Devices District Sales Managers and Partners

Assist District Sales Managers and Partners technically qualify opportunities

EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business preferred, but not required, commensurate with experience

EXPERIENCE:

3 - 5 years of solution selling sales experience in a Schneider Electric targeted industry.

Technical knowledge of process instrumentation and applications

Industrial client base: power, oil & gas, chemical, petro-chemical, large scale industrial plants, water/waste water treatment

Established track record of meeting/exceeding yearly quota

Capability to understand the Foxboro Field Devices offerings and articulate those offerings to the industry and prospects
